• In the event of an emergency, please remember to leave your hotel phone number with key family members and important co-workers.  At the bottom of the page, we have listed phone numbers for the major resorts in Los Cabos.
• The phone, fax and address of your resort should appear on your printed confirmation.
• Please consult the airline you have selected for regulations concerning passports, travelling with minors (particularly when not accompanied by both parents) and special visas/permit requirements for those holding foreign passports, i.e. not U.S. or Canadian passports.

CABO COMMUNICATIONS: FAX/PHONE

• When calling Cabo from the U.S.  you need to dial the following numbers: 011 52 (Country code for Mexico) 624 and then the seven digit phone number for the resort/restaurant or entity you are trying to reach.
• From Los Cabos to call the U.S. or Canada dial 001 and then the area code and number.
• Telephone calls from your hotel can be extremely expensive ($4-$6 per minute) to the U.S. or Canada.  Ladatel cards can be purchased for use at various phone booths and often in hotel lobbies.  Other phone booths can also be extraordinarily expensive. 
• Internet cafes usually offer both high speed internet access and inexpensive long distance calling capability. 
• Most resorts offer business centers which provide high speed internet access at a cost of approximately $10 per hour.
• Cell phones:  Currently, the most effective cell phone program in Cabo is through Cingular.  However, before leaving home, check with your cell phone service provider to determine whether roaming is available in Los Cabos.  You can also purchase inexpensive disposable cell phones but these are not cost effective if you need to be in frequent contact with your home or office.
